# Insurance Requirements

- **Coverage:** commercial general liability, including products liability, with at least **$1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate**.
- **Additional insureds:** in-store vendors name Create Marketplace Co LLC plus each store's owner and property manager (see SP-6 in the Store Policies). Online-Only vendors name Create Marketplace Co LLC.
- **Easiest option:** buy through our Thimble partner link and your certificate is sent to us automatically.
- **Outside carrier:** upload your Certificate of Insurance **and** the additional insured endorsement page in the [Vendor Hub](https://hub.createmarketplace.co/). A certificate alone isn't enough.
- **Deadline:** within 7 days of signing. Sales stay paused until it's approved; after 30 days without it, we may end the agreement.
- **Imported goods:** Thimble covers products made or substantially transformed in the U.S. If you sell imported finished goods, use a carrier that covers imported products.
- **Young Entrepreneurs** can use a micro-vendor policy or a parent's umbrella policy.
- **Keep it current:** upload renewals before your policy expires, and tell us within 7 days if it's canceled or reduced.
- **After you leave:** keep products coverage for 3 months (consumables, food, cosmetics, soaps, candles) or 6 months (everything else).
